The cabinets follow the room’s perimeter, with wall units providing additional storage and making use of the space beside the windows. Natural light balances the darker cabinet fronts, while the peninsula extends the kitchen into the room and provides a base for additional worktop space.
The arrangement creates a distinct kitchen area while maintaining access to the garden door.
The photographs capture two stages of the fitting process. In the earlier image, the base units are in position with their supporting legs and frames still exposed. The later view shows how end panels, plinths and cabinet detailing bring the installation together.
Matching grey panels give the outward-facing side of the peninsula a tidy appearance. Above, the cornice finishes the run of wall cabinets, reinforcing the traditional shaker style.
Wood-effect flooring adds warmth alongside the charcoal cabinetry and white walls. Even before the worktops, appliances and final wall finishes are in place, the layout and character of the kitchen are clear.
