The U-shaped arrangement makes good use of the available room, providing worktop space on either side of the cooker and along the opposite run of cabinets. Beneath the window, the sink benefits from natural light and an open outlook.
A generous section of worktop beside the sink provides room for preparing ingredients and keeping everyday essentials within reach. Drawers and cupboards offer varied storage without filling the upper walls with cabinetry, helping the room feel open.
The dark cabinet fronts are complemented by silver-toned cup handles and round knobs. Light worktops with subtle veining provide contrast, while glossy white metro tiles connect the different areas of the kitchen.
Behind the range cooker, the tiling rises to meet the black extractor hood, creating a focal point. An open timber shelf unit with woven baskets introduces warmth and texture alongside the painted cabinetry.
The kitchen combines its classic appearance with useful everyday features. A stainless-steel sink and tall spring-style tap serve the washing-up area, while an undercounter drinks fridge fits neatly into the opposite cabinet run.
Matching end panels and plinths give the cabinetry a consistent finish. Neutral flooring and light walls balance the darker units, allowing the kitchen’s details to stand out without overwhelming the space.

“We asked Konrad to complete a kitchen remodel, fixing damage from a bad leak, replacing floors, removing walls and installing a new kitchen. He paid lots of attention to detail, persevered with difficult aspects and suggested solutions where we came across problems. He was very tidy and worked efficiently. I could not be happier with my new kitchen and would use him again anytime.”

“This was the second time we used Konrad to install our kitchen and bith times he did a fantastic job (kitchens from DIY kitchen.) This was a large kitchen that required plumbing, electrics and flooring. We were super happy not only with the finished product but the attention to detail and problem solving throughout. We would definitely recommend.”

“Konrad has done a fantastic job on our kitchen refurbishment. The work has been done to a high standard and on time. Konrad recommended suppliers, suggested and implemented elements of design such as small dining table for our new setup. We are really pleased with his craftsmanship and the quality.”
